Where can I buy coffins wholesale in Europe?

What is the minimum order quantity for wholesale coffins?

Can Nova Coffin be an exclusive supplier for our country?

Do you supply to funeral homes directly, or only to distributors?

What materials are Nova Coffin products made from?
Our coffins are primarily constructed from high-density MDF (18-22mm) with selected pine wood reinforcements. The Pine Natural Series uses solid A-grade, kiln-dried, knot-free pine. The Cremation Series uses specially formulated lightweight combustible MDF with no metal fittings. All materials are sourced from certified suppliers.
Can you manufacture custom coffin models not in the catalogue?
Yes, absolutely. Our Bespoke Production service covers any model, material, size or design. Simply share a reference image, a sketch or a technical specification document. Our design team will prepare a production blueprint for your approval before manufacturing begins. Applicable to OEM/white-label orders as well.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer standard European sizes (typically 195cm–220cm length, 58cm–72cm width, 38cm–48cm height) as well as fully custom dimensions. XL, child and infant sizes are available upon request. Contact us with your required specifications for a custom quote.
What paint and finish options are available?
Available finishes include: High-gloss polyurethane varnish, matt polyurethane, satin finish, natural/unstained, dark stain (walnut, oak, mahogany tones), and custom colours. All coating materials use EU-approved polyurethane formulations (PS.71.00) compliant with REACH and CLP regulations. Crematorium orders can be specified as NoColor.
What coffin models do you have for crematoriums?
Our Cremation Series is purpose-built for crematoriums. It uses lightweight, specially formulated combustible MDF with glue-free joints and zero metal fittings, ensuring a clean and efficient cremation process. Available in NoColor or with a minimal water-based paint. We supply crematoriums across Europe with flexible bulk pricing.
Shipping & Logistics
Do you ship coffins internationally?
Yes. Nova Coffin ships worldwide via road, sea and air freight. We handle all export documentation and can assist with customs clearance guidance. Road freight covers all European destinations; sea freight (FCL/LCL containers) is available for larger orders worldwide; air freight is available for urgent deliveries.
How long does delivery take?
Production lead times are typically 7-20 business days depending on the model (Cremation Series: 7-12 days; Nova Classic: 10-15 days; Bespoke: 20-30 days). Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination and freight mode. Road freight to Central Europe typically takes 3-7 business days.
Can you calculate shipping costs for my country?
Yes. When you contact us for a quote, please share your destination country and city (and nearest port for sea freight). We will calculate the exact freight cost and include it in your personalised quotation.
How are the coffins packaged for transport?
Coffins are packed individually in polyfoam, shrink-wrapped and placed in reinforced cardboard or wooden transport crates. Multiple units are palletised and secured for road and sea freight. All packaging is designed to prevent damage during international transportation.
Compliance & Certification
Are Nova Coffin products EU compliant?
Yes. All our coating materials comply with EU Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH) and (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP). Transport compliance covers ADR (road), IMO (sea) and IATA (air) under UN 1263. Full material safety data sheets (MSDS) and compliance certificates are provided with every order.
What certifications do you provide with orders?
With every order we provide: Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), polyurethane varnish compliance certificate (PS.71.00), VOC content declaration (456 g/L for topcoat), UN transport classification (UN 1263) and, upon request, REACH substance declaration. All documentation is provided in English; German, French or Spanish versions are available on request.
Are your coffins compliant for import into Germany, France, or the UK?
Yes. Our coffins and coating materials fully comply with EU regulations applicable in Germany, France, and other EU member states. For UK post-Brexit import, our products meet UKCA/CE-equivalent standards. All required documentation for customs clearance is provided.
